Treasury official testifying about 'suspicious' Biden money transfers once worked for him

March 7, 2023

The Treasury official testifying about 150 "suspicious' Biden family money transfers worked for Joe Biden on his presidential transition team in 2020, raising questions about whether his testimony will be biased.

Jonathan Davidson was also nominated by Biden to his position in the Treasury Department and worked as a Democrat operative for the last 20 years.

He had refused to testify before the House Oversight Committee, answering questions from Chairman James Comer (R-KY), until Saturday.

Comer wants to know why the Treasury Department is refusing to provide the suspicious reports to the Oversight Committee when it was willing to give them to another committee.

While Davidson agreed to testify, it remains to be seen whether he will give straight answers or try to obfuscate.

If the Biden family has acted corruptly, there's a good chance Davidson wants to help them continue covering it up.
