Top Washington Post Columnist Calls For Biden To Drop Out Of 2024 Race

 September 14, 2023

Longtime political columnist David Ignatius has had enough.

Never before in American history has this country had a president with a blend of corruption and old age quite like Joe Biden.

Ignatius was willing to admit that Biden was the left's best option back in 2020, but after what we've seen out of Joe these last few years, the exact opposite is true now.

"I don't think Biden and Vice President Harris should run for reelection," Ignatius wrote. "It's painful to say that, given my admiration for much of what they have accomplished. But if he and Harris campaign together in 2024, I think Biden risks undoing his greatest achievement — which was stopping Trump."

That's literally Joe Biden's entire claim to fame as president. He's the man that beat Donald Trump.

If he tries to do it again and loses, he's going to be nothing but Jimmy Carter 2.0.

"According to a recent Associated Press-NORC poll, 77 percent of the public, including 69 percent of Democrats, think he's too old to be effective for four more years," Ignatius said. "Biden's age isn't just a Fox News trope; it's been the subject of dinner-table conversations across America this summer."
