Iraq's top judge, Faiq Zidan, who wants to see former President Donald Trump and other U.S. officials arrested for assassinating Qasem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis in a drone strike, confirmed to Fox Digital that he had been invited to visit the U.S. by President Joe Biden's DOJ.
Zidan said he had been invited to meet with DOJ officials, but a source close to the DOJ said he would not be meeting with any officials while he is in the U.S.
Richard Goldberg, a senior adviser for the Washington, D.C.-based Foundation for Defense of Democracies, told Fox News Digital, "The Justice Department should be focused on protecting Americans targeted by IRGC assassinations and kidnapping plots, not hosting the IRGC’s man in Baghdad who wants to prosecute Americans for killing terrorists. Zidan should not be allowed in America."
It does not seem to make sense to let someone who wants to arrest Americans and retaliate against them for drone strikes that caused Iraqi deaths come into the country.
What could Biden's motive be for allowing this?
He has gotten Trump prosecuted to within an inch of his life. Is he now trying to get him killed?
