Tom Hanks Furious About Lack Of 'Truth' In America
Actor Tom Hanks recently shocked the crowd at Harvard University.
You see, he was there receiving a fake degree from the university on the day that all of the students who had worked hard for years were also due to be recognized.
While receiving his fake college degree, Hanks addressed the people who had gone to classes and done their homework.
It was then that he urged them to rally against everything dishonest in this world, as America is being flooded with things you can't trust.
"For the truth to some is no longer empirical. It’s no longer based on data, nor common sense, nor even common decency," Hanks said. "Telling the truth is no longer the benchmark for public service. It’s no longer the salve to our fears, or the guide to our actions. Truth is now considered malleable, by opinion and by zero-sum endgames."
It is unclear whether Hanks was being genuine or sarcastic. He did SOUND genuine, but to say all that while holding a FAKE degree?
People aren't so sure.
