Tim Walz booed at college football game
Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz attended the Michigan-Minnesota college football game on Saturday and received anything but a warm welcome from attendees.
Walz attended the event in a suite along with former U.S. Representative Beto O'Rourke, a radical leftist who failed in his attempts to become governor of Texas.
When Walz and O'Rourke exited the Big House in Ann Arbor, fans waited outside gave them a harsh farewell with a rain of boos and several fans yelling "Get out of here" at Vice President Kamala Harris's running mate.
Walz's reception in Michigan contrasts sharply with the reception of former President Donald Trump received at the Alabama-Georgia game that same day.
When Trump appeared at the game, massive chants of “U.S.A.” broke out from attendees, and when he was shown on the jumbotron, the applause was thunderous.
Saturday's events could be a stark foreshadowing of what's to come in November.
