Tiger Woods' ex drops $30M lawsuit pending outcome of NDA hearing

Erica Herman, the ex-girlfriend of Tiger Woods, has dropped a $30 million lawsuit against his estate pending the outcome of a hearing about a non-disclosure agreement she signed while she worked from him in 2017.

Herman has argued that the NDA was work-related and should not apply to her personal relationship with Woods. She worked at The Woods, the golf legend's restaurant, with Woods as her boss from 2014 until 2020, and the couple started dating while she worked there.

If a judge agrees with her, the NDA would not preclude her from suing him again over kicking her out of his mansion by tricking her into leaving on a vacation, then locking her out.

Herman argued that it would cost $30 million to rent an estate of similar value to Woods' for five years and that she had a tenancy agreement with him to live in the estate for that length of time.

It seems odd that she would have an expectation of living in his house when their romantic relationship had ended, however.

She has said that Woods talked her into quitting her job in 2020 so she could take care of him and his kids, which may be why she feels like he owes her something now.
