Three of Biden's nominees were too extreme for the Democrat Senate

Generally, most presidential nominees are passed by Congress even if there are ideological differences, but three of President Joe Biden's nominees this year have been rejected even in the Democrat-controlled Senate.

Judicial appeals court nominee Michael Delaney's nomination was withdrawn on Thursday after it was discovered that he violated anonymity of a private school victim during a trial.

Gigi Sohn, Biden's pick for the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), withdrew her nomination in March when Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) said he would not support her due to past ethical violations and extreme partisan views.

Finally, Phillip Washington, nominated to head the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), withdrew his nomination in March because he didn't have enough actual expertise for the position, it was discovered during his hearings.

While general latitude is given to nominees by the other party, these three examples were particularly egregious and deserved to be withdrawn.

It's bad enough that Biden is picking most of his nominees on the basis of hard partisan views, but can't he find ones that are actually qualified to do the job? Apparently not.
