Teamsters union elects not to endorse either Donald Trump or Kamala Harris

Kamala Harris probably REALLY wanted the support of the ultra-powerful Teamsters union ahead of November, but in a stunning blow, she's not going to get it.

Not only is the Teamsters union NOT going to endorse Kamala Harris, but the Trump campaign is also claiming that Teamsters members are being "loud and clear" in their support of his bid.

Harris probably expected an endorsement because the Teamsters were tracking to endorse Joe Biden, but she's made it VERY clear that she's NOT Joe Biden.

"President Joe Biden won the support of Teamsters voting in straw polls at local unions between April-July prior to his exit from the race," the Teamsters union said in a statement.

The statement continued, "But in independent electronic and phone polling from July-September, a majority of voting members twice selected Trump for a possible Teamsters endorsement over Harris."

"The union’s extensive member polling showed no majority support for Vice President Harris and no universal support among the membership for President Trump," the statement concluded.
