Supreme Court to hear case that could change tax code for every American

 December 4, 2023

The U.S. Supreme Court is set to hear a case that could completely gut the federal tax code and slash the insane tax burden that Americans have been suffering under.

The case, Moore v. United States, asks questions about the scope of the 16th Amendment and what income the government has the legal grounds to tax.

Democrats are concerned that the Supreme Court's decision could completely gut proposals for a wealth tax, as well as slash taxes across the board.

Former House Speaker Paul Ryan explained, "A lot of the tax code would be unconstitutional. I'm not for a wealth tax, but I think if you use this as the argument to spike a wealth tax, you're going to basically get rid of, I don't know, a third of the tax code."

Getting rid of a third of the U.S. tax code is exactly what many Americans struggling with inflation and economic stagnation want to hear right now.

The tax code is horrifically overinflated, and Americans are being taxed at unjustifiable rates. Citizens ought to pay close attention to this case and hope that the Supreme Court is brave enough to force fundamental tax reform.
