Supreme Court taking regulatory state apart with recent rulings

 July 2, 2023

The U.S. Supreme Court has been dismantling the regulatory state with rulings affecting free speech, religious freedom, education and the economy.

The Biden administration was hit particularly hard after the Supreme Court shot down the president's plan to unilaterally forgive student debt, a major campaign promise that some say was tantamount to bribery.

The Court has also struck down affirmative action and sided with American workers against the U.S. Postal Service in finding that workers' religious observances must be accommodated.

President Joe Biden predictably attacked the Supreme Court by attacking its legitimacy. Democrats who preach the need to respect our institutions happily question the panel's rulings and have been working on proposals to expand it.

The recent string of decisions will certainly add more fuel to the fire, as the Supreme Court has made it clear that it is sticking with the Constitution and will not tolerate deviation.

This is great news for Americans who can expect more landmark decisions that will reverse decades of decay and constitutional erosion.
