Singer and songwriter team Maren Morris and Ryan Hurd are divorcing after 5 years of marriage, according to Fox News.

Morris filed for divorce from Hurd in Nashville, Tennessee, citing "irreconcilable differences."

The filing stated the "parties are unable to live together successfully as husband and wife and are experiencing irreconcilable differences in their marriage."

They have been separated since the petition was filed on Oct. 2, it said.

The couple plans to share custody of their three-year-old son Hayes and will work on a court-ordered co-parenting plan.

Morris's filing also said that she and Hurd had a prenuptial agreement before the marriage, which would impact the way assets will be divided.
