Sen. Cory Booker Calls On Bob Menendez To Resign

When even other Democrats are calling on one of their own party to resign, you know the situation is NOT pretty.

Sen. Bob Menendez messed up, and he messed up bad.

Even other Democrats know it.

Sen. Cory Booker is one of them.

Bob Menendez, a Democrat, and his wife, Nadine Menendez, are both facing three federal counts alleging that they accepted bribes in return "for using Menendez’s power and influence as a senator."

Reports indicate that Menendez was not only trying to "protect and enrich" the people paying him, but to "benefit the Arab Republic of Egypt. These bribes allegedly include home mortgage payments, a low show or no-show job for Nadine Menendez, a Mercedes Benz and other things of value to the senator and his wife."

Well, if there's one group that shouldn't be the primary concern for American senators to look out for, it's probably the Arab Republic of Egypt.

I'm surprised Menendez didn't know that.
