Secret Service turned down drone 'repeatedly' ahead of Trump shooting
According to Fox News, local law enforcement repeatedly offered to give the U.S. Secret Service drone coverage before President Trump's July 13 campaign rally at which Trump was shot.
For some reason, the Secret Service declined.
"According to one whistleblower, the night before the rally, U.S. Secret Service repeatedly denied offers from a local law enforcement partner to utilize drone technology to secure the rally," said Sen. Josh Hawley of Missouri, a member of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee.
"This means that the technology was both available to USSS and able to be deployed to secure the site. Secret Service said no."
The Secret Service did NOT do a sufficient job of protecting Trump on that day, and America wants to know why.
It doesn't look like the department was short on resources or help, but could all of this really happened just because of Kimberly Cheatle's sheer incompetence?
Hopefully we get to the bottom of it soon.
