Sarah Palin's daughter gives update on facial paralysis

Bristol Palin, the daughter of 2008 vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin, has given an update on her facial paralysis.

Palin, a reality TV star and realtor in Texas, recently announced that she is dealing with "crazy" facial paralysis because of a neurological disorder.

"I woke up nine days ago with a little weird sensation in my face," Bristol Palin recently told her followers. "My mouth was pulling this way and it just felt a little off. So I went, looked in the mirror. I’m like ‘Wow. This is looking a little weird.’"

"I've seen so much speculation about what this is caused by," Palin said. "So many people are trying to blame the COVID vaccine," the 34-year-old said.

However, perhaps in support of her mother, Bristol Palin never had the COVID-19 vaccine.

"I haven't had filler in years. I had lip filler years ago," she added. "I haven't done that in a long time too, so, I don't think it's caused by those."

Palin then admitted that her condition is "likely" being caused by Bell's Palsy.

"Bell's Palsy can be set off by stress. I'm stressed, I probably don't sleep that great, so it's definitely eye opening for that aspect, but it's super simple, that's likely what it's caused by," Palin explained.
