Rumors about marriage of Prince William, Kate Middleton explode

Princess Kate Middleton has been missing from the public eye for some time amid a complicated health situation that required surgery.

However, the internet has exploded with speculation that the Royal Family isn't telling the whole story and that there is more to the princess's disappearance from public life.

A rumor has been building steam that Prince William had an affair with Sarah Rose Hanbury, the Marchioness of Cholmondeley, and that it could explain the absence of the princess from public life as well as a bizarre episode involving an edited picture.

This suggestion was immediately denied by Hanbury through her lawyers, who stated, "The rumors are completely false."

This didn't stop late-night TV host Stephen Colbert from saying, "Well now, internet sleuths are guessing that Kate's absence may be related to her husband, and the future King of England, William, having an affair."

Why Colbert decided to broadcast these rumors is unknown, but at this point, there seems to be little to no evidence of this story. Hopefully, the princess will recover from her medical condition and be able to dispel the rumors when she returns to public life.
