Rosie O'Donnell's daughter arrested on child endangerment, drug charges
Chelsea O’Donnell, the adopted daughter of actress Rosie O'Donnell, is facing charges related to drug addiction and child endangerment and has been arrested twice in just one month.
O'Donnell has had repeated encounters with law enforcement, and according to court documents, she is suffering from severe drug addiction, and police officers reported she's living in “horrible” squalor. What's really concerning is O'Donnell has an 11-month-old son, who is one of four of her children, with claims surfacing that he is not safe due to O'Donnell's habit of leaving hypodermic needles near the baby's crib.
An officer responding to a 911 call from O'Donnell stated, "The inside of the home was disgusting. Throughout the house I saw rotten food, dirty moldy dishes, milk that stunk so bad it almost made me puke, dirty diapers, used female hygiene products, unclean underwear with feces and blood stains, and used razor blades on the floor."
That officer also reported that under the crib in the infant's room, "Under a baby crib, I located a black and silver digital scale, some used gem bags with white residue, and a sharps container that had more used and unused hypodermic needles. In a clothes pile, I found a straw that had been cut off and burnt."
In the wake of these findings, O'Donnell was charged with four felony counts of maintaining a place of drug trafficking, child neglect, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of THC.
Chelsea reportedly has a poor relationship with Rosie O'Donnell and has accused her of being a “phony” person, contrary to the public persona she projected for years.
