Ron DeSantis Floats Idea Of Removing Biden From Florida Primary Ballot

 January 6, 2024

Ron DeSantis is definitely not Donald Trump's biggest fan right now.

I honestly don't blame Florida's Republican governor for having a bit of an issue with Trump.

Trump has REFUSED to get on the debate stage and give the other Republicans a fair crack at him, and DeSantis may very well be right to feel frustrated at the Republican National Committee for not requiring compliance with responsibilities that should be expected of a party nominee.

Still, that doesn't mean that DeSantis thinks we should be using illegal tactics to take down Trump.

That's why he's suggesting that if Democrats aren't willing to fight fair on the ballot in places like Colorado and Maine, then maybe Republicans should get to make the rules in Florida. He said:

To have one election official decide that somebody is guilty of, quote, 'insurrection,' when there has not been a criminal conviction of anybody, much less the candidate himself, that opens up Pandora's box. I'm actually looking at this in Florida now. Could we make a credible case that Biden should be removed because of the invasion of 8 million migrants?
