Republican Greg Steube introduces articles of impeachment against President Joe Biden

Representative Greg Steube (R-FL) introduced articles of impeachment on Friday against President Joe Biden, a move that some see as jumping the gun.

Multiple congressional committees are busy putting together a bullet-proof case against the president, but Steube is accelerating things and forcing individual party members to get involved in impeachment.

According to a statement from Steube, "It’s long past time to impeach Joe Biden. He has undermined the integrity of his office, brought disrepute on the Presidency, betrayed his trust as President, and acted in a manner subversive of the rule of law and justice at the expense of America’s citizens."

Steube's chosen reasons for removing President Biden have to do with his involvement in the corrupt business activities of his son, Hunter Biden.

The lawmaker pointed out that while he was vice president, Biden accepted bribes and misused his office to enable his family's self-enrichment schemes in which they would sell access to the White House in exchange for millions of dollars.

The House Oversight Committee has discovered that the Biden family received over $20 million in foreign payments. All that remains is for House Republicans to actually pull the trigger and move forward on impeachment.
