Rep. Byron Donalds Says 'Austin Resigning The 'Right Move''

Rep. Byron Donalds, a Republican from Florida, recently stopped by Newsmax and told the truth about what should happen to Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin.

It was recently uncovered that neither Austin nor the people around him have been being honest about the Pentagon leader's health condition lately.

When you're somebody who's in such an important position, you need to be at the top of your game mentally and physically every single day.

That's because you can never tell when your nation is going to need you.

A few weeks ago, if America would have needed Lloyd Austin, he would not have responded.

Why?

Because he was in the intensive care unit in the hospital. and he never told anyone.

Donalds thinks that Austin should resign as a result:

"Now it's Lloyd Austin, on a personal level, I hope his health is okay," Donalds said. "But as secretary of defense, you don't get to disappear, that is unconscionable."
