Rand Paul: Fauci Referred For Prosecution For Lying To Congress

Sen. Rand Paul, a Republican from Kentucky, has dropped a bomb about the man Americans thought had exited the stage, "Doctor" Anthony Fauci.

Paul -- himself a doctor -- has referred Fauci for prosecution. The lawmaker explained Anthony Fauci lied during his testimony before Congress, and that he should be held responsible for his lies just like any other American would be.

Paul has been calling Fauci "dishonest" for years.

We all knew that the senator was correct even way back then.

"This is when they’re just beginning to look into the pandemic. And in that email, he basically says, ‘Yes, we’re suspicious that this could be a manipulated virus because it came from a lab in Wuhan, where they do gain of function research,’ and he describes the research," Paul said. He added:

Well, this directly contradicts everything he said in committee hearing to me, denying absolutely that they funded any gain of function, and it’s absolutely a lie.

If you or I told a lie of this magnitude to Congress, we'd probably be in jail for a very long time. Why should Fauci be treated any differently?
