Jamaal Bowman hit with plagiarism accusations

 June 23, 2024

Representative Jamaal Bowman (D-NY), who is known for his radical leftist politics, was accused of plagiarism on Friday after several portions of his 2019 dissertation were discovered to be nearly identical to older academic works.

Bowman, who is recognized as a member of the infamous "Squad" of radical progressive Democrats in the House of Representatives, is running for reelection but he has an uphill battle to securing another term.

Last week, Hillary Clinton endorsed Bowman's challenger, Westchester County Executive George Latimer, in a move that many see as Clinton trying to control the radical progressives who are becoming increasingly powerful in the Democrat Party.

Clinton may have made a smart move, as Bowman's credentials are now under scrutiny, with The Daily Wire combing over his Manhattanville College dissertation and finding multiple examples of plagiarism.

Many passages of Bowman's dissertation, which was predictably about critical race theory, were copied nearly word-for-word from a previous dissertation on the same topic. It's worth remembering that the left has repeatedly claimed that critical race theory is a conservative conspiracy theory.

Nonetheless, Bowman's credibility is worse than ever and now he is fighting against one of the most powerful people in the Democrat Party. It's too early to say, but it's possible that Bowman's time in Congress may be over soon.
