Prince Harry Faces Backlash Over Aviation Award

 January 12, 2024

Prince Harry is facing serious scrutiny over his name appearing on a new list.

He has been selected to join the Living Legends of Aviation Hall of Fame.

In a recent post on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, Omid Scobie, author of Endgame, wrote that “Prince Harry is to be inducted into the Living Legends of Aviation Hall of Fame, joining other aviators who have made ‘significant contributions in the aerospace industry.’”

Scobie went on to note that other honorees include huge names such as those of astronauts Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong.

The induction of Prince Harry will take place on Jan. 19 in California.

While the prince has over a decade of military service, some users on X are calling the soon-to-be hall of famer’s induction a “joke” and going so far as to say, “he has done nothing to earn this.”

For every critic, there’s also a fan. Prince Harry has also received a lot of positive comments from users excited to see him added into the Living Legends of Aviation Hall of Fame.
