Pregnant Amish Woman Killed In Pennsylvania

Police in Pennsylvania say they are "aggressively investigating" a shocking recent death.

No matter what they do, though, it's not going to bring back Rebekah Tyler, the 23-year-old pregnant Amish woman who was found dead about 35 miles southeast of Erie.

It didn't take long for the woman's death to be considered a homicide, given its circumstances.

"Immediate family has been notified. We have members of the Amish community here as well," said Police Officer Lt. Mark Weindorf.

"We will be on scene for several hours, conducting a forensic search of the entire property and inside the residence," Weindorf added.

Whether you're a part of this particular community or not, you have to admit that such a young lady being struck down is a tragic story, no matter where it's told.

Add on the fact that she was carrying a precious life at the time, and the story only gets sadder.
