Powdery Package Delivered To DA Bragg With Note 'Alvin, I'll Kill You'

 March 25, 2023

A package containing suspicious white powder was delivered to the mail room for the New York City building that contains the Manhattan District Attorney's office.

Police are reporting that a note saying "Alvin - I'll kill you" was also found in the envelope.

The note was referring to Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, who has made headlines for leading the political witch hunt against Donald Trump.

Police and other emergency personnel responded to the scene shortly after 12:00 p.m. but did not order anyone to evacuate.

The envelope was handled by the U.S. Postal Service and was "deemed non-hazardous" at the scene.

Last week, Donald Trump posted on social media that leaks from the district attorney's office indicated that Donald Trump himself would be arrested on March 21.

March 21 came and went, but Donald Trump was not arrested.

Bragg wrote in a letter to several Republicans who had questions about the situation that the former president "created a false expectation" that his arrest was imminent.
