Poll Shows Most Want Mitt Romney NOT To Run For Reelection

June 14, 2023

Talk about a collapse.

From America's biggest and brightest Republican back in 2012 to being begged not to run for reelection in his home state in 2023.

Senator Mitt Romney, a "Republican" from Utah, has had quite the fall from grace in the GOP ranks.

All you need to do to see this is to look at the polls.

A recent Deseret News/Hinckley Institute of Politics poll found that just 41% of voters in Utah support him. A whopping 49% disapprove of the job he's been doing.

Most people from Utah thought that Romney should not run for reelection of his Senate seat in 2024. Over half of Republicans, 54%, believe that he should not run again.

When your own party doesn't want you any longer, it's time to take a step back.

Romney is probably going to do whatever he wants, though. His ego has always been far more substantial than his common sense.
