Peter Crombie, known for playing 'Crazy' Joe Davola on 'Seinfeld', passes away at 71

Actor Peter Crombie, who was best known for his role as “Crazy” Joe Davola on Seinfeld, passed away at the age of 71 on Wednesday.

While not much is known about the circumstances of Crombie's death, we do know that he was battling some sort of brief illness that may have contributed to his passing.

Crombie's death was confirmed by his ex-wife, Nadine Kijner, who explained that he had been recovering from surgery at a healthcare facility in Palm Springs, California.

While he was best known for his role in Seinfeld, he also had dozens of other acting credits in films like My Dog Skip, Natural Born Killers, The Blob, Se7en, and Rising Sun.

Kijner, who was married to Crombie for six years, said that Crombie was "like a rock. He was someone you could always call and lean on."

Crombie was well-loved by many and will be missed long after his passing. Thankfully, his work will live on, and fans will always have something by which to remember him.
