America's latest announcement means that they will be the ones on alert about us.
Our Pentagon has a new nuclear bomb that's 24 times more powerful than what was dropped on Japan many moons ago.
In case you've never heard of World War II, our nuclear capability killed a lot of people and caused a lot of destruction.
If any of our enemies get too out of line, they could be looking at a fate 24 times worse than what Japan experienced back in the day.
"Today's announcement is reflective of a changing security environment and growing threats from potential adversaries," said Assistant Secretary of Defense for Space Policy John Plumb. "The United States has a responsibility to continue to assess and field the capabilities we need to credibly deter and, if necessary, respond to strategic attacks, and assure our allies."
