Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and her husband Paul, a venture capitalist, have once again invested millions of dollars in software giant Nvidia, even though the company is regulated by Congress.

They bought 50 call options at $120 per share, at a cost of $2 million, and disclosed the trade on Dec. 23, the Friday before Christmas, when most people were not paying attention to the news, according to the New York Post.

Members of Congress may be privy to inside information about Nvidia's practices that would make such trades illegal in most circumstances.

They have invested in Nvidia before but pulled their money out when backlash ensued and lost several hundred thousand dollars on the trade.

They have, however, made millions on trades involving companies such as Google, Salesforce, Roblox, and Disney.

Pelosi has strongly opposed legislation that would stop members of Congress from buying and selling stocks that are regulated by Congress.
