Kiss your private office goodbye, Nancy!
Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, a Democrat from California, was recently evicted from the private Capitol office that she probably didn't deserve anyway.
She was booted by House Speaker Pro-Tempore Patrick McHenry, a Republican who was already pleasing America very soon after taking over for ousted Kevin McCarthy, a Republican from California.
McHenry is a close ally of McCarthy's, and he gave the order that Pelosi best get her little buns out of the office she didn't deserve ASAP.
Pelosi was notified of the eviction via email.
She was told that the office will be reassigned "for speaker office use."
"Please vacate the space tomorrow; the room will be re-keyed," she was told.
"With all of the important decisions that the new Republican Leadership must address, which we are all eagerly awaiting, one of the first actions taken by the new Speaker Pro Tempore was to order me to immediately vacate my office in the Capitol," Pelosi said in an attempt to play the victim. She added:
Sadly, because I am in California to mourn the loss of and pay tribute to my dear friend Dianne Feinstein, I am unable to retrieve my belongings at this time.
Too bad.
