Pakistani PM slams Biden for giving terrorists enhanced attack capabilities

President Joe Biden's disastrous withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan drew intense criticism here at home, but Americans aren't the only ones upset about his stunning leadership failure.

According to Breitbart, Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar, the caretaker primer minister, slammed the U.S. president this week, holding him responsible for a wave of terrorist attacks at the Pakistani border.

Even worse, he claimed that some of those attacks were carried out through the use of the billions of dollars of U.S. military equipment that Biden and his Pentagon left behind in Afghanistan.

Kakar made the claims to a state television audience last Friday.

"The reason for the recent resurgence of terrorism being witnessed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Baluchistan is, unfortunately, an outcome of the rushed military withdrawal by the U.S. and NATO allies," Kakar said.

He added: "The rushed withdrawal has had an impact not just on Pakistan but also on Central Asia, China, Iran, and the whole region."

The Afghanistan Times confirmed the use of U.S. military equipment in some of the attacks.

"Pakistan's caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar claims Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) militants have gained access to advanced US military gear abandoned in Afghanistan post-US withdrawal."

The outlet added, "The arsenal includes firearms, night vision goggles, aircraft, vehicles, and ammo originally provided to Afghan military. Islamabad believes TTP acquired it from Taliban or through partnership. Over $7 billion of US military assets left in Afghanistan are now in Taliban's hands."

Kakar made the point that prior to having access to advanced U.S. military equipment, there wasn't much concern of attacks in that region.

"This equipment has greatly enhanced the fighting capacity of terrorists and non-state actors in the region. Previously, they had minimal capacity, but they can now target my soldier even if he moves his finger," he said.

The Biden administration went on record after the withdrawal, claiming that most of the U.S. equipment had been disabled or destroyed, but multiple reports, including Kakar's debunked the claim many times over.

Perhaps in the near future, Republicans will finally hold Biden's feet to the fire on the issue, impeachment style.
