She is famous for serving in Britain's government and for winning the Triple Crown of Acting.

Jackson did it all. She won an Academy Award, an Emmy Award, and a Tony Award.

No matter the medium, she was simply an amazing actor.

Glenda brought home Academy Awards for her performances in Women in Love and A Touch of Class in the 1970s.

Jackson entered politics when she was elected to Britain's Parliament in 1992.

She spent 23 years as a Labour Party lawmaker.
