Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose is many Republican's best hope at dethroning Democrat Senator Sherrod Brown next year.
Frank LaRose is also the man who just made headlines for firing one of his top aides.
The aide lost his job because he had been critical of Donald Trump on social media.
Press Secretary Rob Nichols is out of a job.
He was fired for telling a Trump supporter that "it’s been an incredible indictments race to the bottom for your guys and hunter biden...the daytona 500 of felonies and misdemeanors."
Nichols declined to comment on the matter, and had already deleted his entire Twitter account before the tweets were brought to light.
Interestingly, Frank LaRose had previously been one of the loudest voices against Trump in all of America.
Despite being a Republican, LaRose refused to endorse Donald Trump.
What do you think about this story?
Was it fair for a Republican to expect his staff not to criticize Trump? Or should the employee have been allowed to say whatever he wanted?
