President Joe Biden is in real trouble as far as the 2024 election is concerned, and Democrats are finally beginning to acknowledge that hard truth.
Several recent polls, conducted by ultra left-leaning organizations, have shown former President Donald Trump beating Biden in hypothetical matchups, causing growing concern within the Democratic Party.
According to Breitbart, Biden is getting one last boost by none other than his former boss, Barack Obama.
Obama took to social media to defend his former sidekick.
"For eight years, [Biden] and I worked to deliver change for the American people. I couldn’t have asked for a better Vice President and friend — and we’ll always be thankful to all the campaign staff and Administration alumni who helped bring that progress to folks across the country. Yes we can. Yes we did," the post read.

At this point, Obama is one of the few high-profile Dems still expressing optimism that Biden can pull off a victory in 2024.
As The Hill reported, former Obama chief strategist David Axelrod made headlines in recent days after he expressed dire concern over the recent polling that shows Biden getting handily beaten by Trump in the polls.
Axelrod, in a series of posts, went as far as to suggest that Biden drop out of the race at this point, and pass the proverbial torch to a younger, fresher Democratic candidate.
"Only @JoeBiden can make this decision. If he continues to run, he will be the nominee of the Democratic Party. What he needs to decide is whether that is wise; whether it's in HIS best interest or the country's?" he wrote.
In another post, Axelrod wrote, "The @POTUS is justly proud of his accomplishments. Trump is a dangerous, unhinged demagogue whose brazen disdain for the rules, norms, laws and institutions or democracy should be disqualifying. But the stakes of miscalculation here are too dramatic to ignore."
Many believe it took a voice like Axelrod's to open up the floodgates for other Democrats and Dem operatives to begin the pressure campaign to force Biden out and recruit someone who stands a better chance at beating Trump next year.
Short of an unprecedented turn of events, Trump is the clear frontrunner for the GOP nomination, leaving his opponents behind by double digits -- sometimes as much as 50 points -- in virtually all GOP primary polls.
Only time will tell if Democrat perform a last-minute tag-in and force the elderly, often-confused president out of the race. Not even Obama can save him at this point.
