A new Wall Street Journal poll released Saturday showed that while former President Donald Trump would beat President Joe Biden by four points in a hypothetical matchup, another GOP candidate, Nikki Haley, would best Biden by 17 points in a head-to-head matchup.

While the Trump-Biden matchup is 47% to 43%, Haley vs. Biden is 51% to 34%.

For some reason, Democrats seem to like Haley a lot more than Trump. That might not be a good thing, though she seems conservative enough.

At this point, Trump is much more popular with the Republican base, and Haley trails him in the primary race by 40 points.

When five third-party candidates are added into the 2024 race, Trump's lead grows to six points, 37% to 31%, but a full 14% were still undecided in that matchup.

Only 23% of those polled said Biden's policies have helped them, while 53% said they have hurt.
