NFL player faces 8 charges in connection with hit and run, police say

Dallas police have issued an arrest warrant for wide receiver Rashee Rice on eight criminal charges in relation to a multi-vehicle hit-and-run in Dallas on March 30.

As a result of the crash, four people were reported by police to have minor injuries, and two were seriously injured enough to require hospitalization.

Rice's attorney, Royce West, has already released a statement due to the arrest warrant, saying that the NFL player was going to do "everything in his power" to help the people impacted by this crash.
