Well, one disgraced Democrat is going to be forced out, and another Democrat wants to benefit from it.
New Jersey first lady Tammy Murphy is reportedly being encouraged by those around her to pursue the seat that disgraced Sen. Bob Menendez is being pressured to leave behind. Murphy doesn't seem to hate the idea.
Tammy's husband is the Democratic governor of New Jersey, Phil Murphy.
Phil recently called on fellow Democrat, Sen. Bob Menendez, to resign.
Menendez is facing major allegations that both he and his wife accepted bribes from the Arab Republican of Egypt that influenced his decision-making right here in America.
While Phil Murphy might be able to benefit from Menendez resigning, other Democrats have also called on Menendez to get out of the spotlight as soon as possible.
One of those Democrats is Senator Cory Booker, a Democrat from New Jersey.
