Former President Donald Trump is holding onto a huge lead over his primary opponents according to a new poll by Harvard-Harris.

Trump got 58% in the poll, while his next-closest rival Ron DeSantis only had 16%.

In a head-to-head matchup between Trump and DeSantis, Trump had 65% to DeSantis's 35%.

DeSantis would be the frontrunner with 41% if Trump weren't in the race. DeSantis is not an official candidate yet but is expected to announce his run very soon.

Trump got a perceived poll bump when he was indicted on trumped-up charges and has been riding high ever since.

Meanwhile, DeSantis has been looking overly argumentative by tussling with Disney over its unusual rights and autonomy compared to other corporations and municipalities and has been somewhat weakened.
