New evidence indicates Cassidy Hutchinson lied in her testimony to Jan. 6 committee

New evidence has been released that indicates that Cassidy Hutchinson, a former White House aide under former President Donald Trump, was not being honest with her prior testimony in front of the Jan. 6 committee, which was used to attack her former boss.

The evidence surfaced thanks to a lawsuit filed by Hutchinson's former lawyer, and it shows that Hutchinson initially wanted to resist the committee and called the investigation "b.s."

One text from Hutchinson to an unidentified contact read, "I don’t know. But I don’t want to comply. Stefan wants me to comply." Stefan Passantino was her first lawyer, who she later claimed pressured her to stay "loyal" to Trump.

Another text from Hutchinson stated, "I’m on a high timeline and just trying to figure out what my options are to deal with this bs."

All of this completely undermines her claims that her inconsistent testimony was the result of her being pressured by her lawyer to support Trump.

This new evidence makes it clear that Hutchinson can't be trusted and likely lied in order to advance her own interests and protect herself.
