Netflix dating contestant torched after lying about looking like Megan Fox

The hit Netflix dating show Love is Blind has fans in an uproar after contestant Chelsea Blackwell claimed she is often told she looks like a famous movie star.

According to PageSix, during a recent episode, Blackwell, in a conversation with "with love interest Jimmy Presnell in the pods," began talking about celebrity doppelgängers.

Blackwell reportedly told Presnell that she often gets told she looks like Hollywood A-list celebrity Megan Fox.

PageSix noted:

“Do you ever get told you look like a celebrity?” Blackwell asked, to which Presnell responded, “Yeah, I do.”

Blackwell, a flight attendant and event planner, then shared with software salesman Presnell that passengers on her flights tell her “all the time” that she looks like “one person.”

"It’s just because I have dark hair and blue eyes. But I don’t see it, so don’t get excited," Blackwell added.

Blackwell proceeded to play dumb and pretend as if she didn't know she was going to say that she gets told she looks like Megan Fox. Keep in mind, Blackwell and Presnell were separated by a wall and had no idea what each other looked like, which is the point of the show.

"Megan Fox? You’re saying you look like Megan Fox?" Presnell said with a giant, understandable grin, thinking he's about to hit it off with a bombshell Megan Fox lookalike.

"It’s just because I have light eyes and dark hair. That’s the only reason. There’s nothing else … at least, I’m assuming so," Blackwell added, continuing her delusion.

Presnell immediately replied, "I mean … can we get married?”

Shockingly, the two actually ended up engaged, and upon revealing each other to one another for the first time, fans noticed that Presnell was not as excited as he thought he was going to be, given that she looks almost nothing like Fox.

PageSix noted:

However, when the two later met face-to-face for the first time during their big engagement reveal, viewers couldn’t get over Presnell’s reaction. Many on social media argued that he seemed bothered by the fact that Blackwell looked “nothing” like Fox.

Luckily for Blackwell, even though she was absolutely torched on social media, Presnell said that ultimately, he's still attracted to her, even though she "lied" about her looks.

"She definitely lied to me about some, uh, how she looked," Presnell admitted in a confessional. "Chelsea told me she looked like Megan Fox. At the end of the day, it doesn’t really matter. I am very attracted to her. I can work with that."
