Natalie Portman officially divorcing husband after affair

Actress Natalie Portman has decided to end her marriage to choreographer Benjamin Millipied after it was revealed in June 2023 that he had a secret affair with a 25-year-old.

The two have been separated since the affair was revealed but had been trying to work things out and were spending time together as a couple and with their two children, Aleph, 12, and Amalia, 6.

Millipied was remorseful about the affair, but Portman reportedly could not get over the betrayal. It took them some time to figure out how to make the divorce work for their children.

Portman has been living in Paris with her children, while Millipied has been in the U.S.

A recent Wall Street Journal article about the actress did not mention Millipied, sparking speculation about the split.

Both Portman and Millipied have appeared recently in public without their wedding rings.
