Nancy Pelosi accuses Trump of being sick after he pointed out that she was responsible for January 6th protest

Representative Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) claimed that former President Donald Trump is sick after he pointed out that the former House speaker was responsible for the Jan. 6th protest at the U.S. Capitol getting out of control.

Trump stated, "Nancy Pelosi is responsible for January 6," in reference to allegations that Pelosi refused Trump's offer to bring in the National Guard ahead of Jan. 6.

MSNBC's Jonathan Capehart referenced that statement in an interview with Pelosi where he asked her, "He [Trump] is blaming you for the attack on the Capitol that he instigated. Your response?"

Pelosi responded by saying, "The former occupant of the White House has always been about projection. He knows that he’s responsible for that, so he projects it on to others. His instigation of it insurrection, and assault in our Constitution, the day we were supposed to approve, and we did, the work of the Electoral College results, the assault on the Capitol building, the assault on the Constitution, the assault on our democracy. Shame on him."

Pelosi accused Trump of projection, yet she failed to directly address Trump's claims that "She turned down 10,000 soldiers. If she didn’t turn down the soldiers, you wouldn’t have had Jan. 6."

Many speculate that Trump's offer of assistance was rejected by Democrats to increase the chances of an out-of-control protest that could be used against Trump. If that was the case, Democrats got what they wanted, and they used the riot to impeach Trump for the second time.
