Nancy Pelosi reportedly working to undermine AOC's career

According to the Daily Mail, Nancy Pelosi is working VERY hard behind the scenes to stop the rise of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez within the Democratic Party.

AOC is looking to become the ranking member on America's House Oversight Committee, having served as the vice ranking member already.

The main roadblock in AOC's way is the fact that Virginia Congressman Gerry Connelly has also launched his own bid for the top committee job.

Their showdown is a very interesting battle between a 35-year-old representing the new generation and a 74-year-old who's been serving in the House of Representatives for 15 years.

Pelosi REALLY doesn't want AOC's career to advance much further, so she's already been making calls on behalf of Connolly.

As seen with the ousting of Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi wields incredible power within the Democratic Party.

More often than not, Nancy gets her way. Just ask Jerry Nadler, who recently dropped his bid to remain the top Democrat on the Judiciary Committee so that Nancy's pick, Representative Jamie Raskin, could have the job.

Pelosi is still a powerful woman. It will be interesting to see how AOC fights back.
