MTG Promises Impeachment Inquiry Would Convince Republican Holdouts

 August 3, 2023

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, a Republican from Georgia, thinks she knows exactly what America needs to do in order to convince undecided Republicans that Joe Biden should be impeached:

A formal impeachment inquiry.

According to Breitbart.com, "an impeachment inquiry is an investigation that usually occurs before a potential articles of impeachment vote. If the House approves the articles, they are conveyed to the Senate for approval."

Greene thinks that through this process, evidence would come to light that even the most skeptical Republican out there couldn't choose to ignore.

"I think the impeachment inquiry is really important," Greene said. "The impeachment inquiry will show the public even more information. It will help get those Republican members that we have to the point where they will be there for impeachment." She added:

It also gives the House more power behind our subpoenas.

What do you think? Is Greene right? Do we need an impeachment inquiry to convince Republicans to agree? Or should they be on board already anyway?
