A Morning Consult poll -- hardly a conservative barometer of the political scene -- showed that former President Donald Trump has scored higher in popularity than President Joe Biden for the last 10 weeks in a row.

Looking at net favorability over January 4-6, Trump had -5 points in the poll, while Biden had -9 points.

The poll asked almost 2,000 voters and had a 2% margin of error.

While Trump faces four criminal indictments with a total of 91 criminal charges that could get him more than 700 years in jail, Biden is facing allegations of widespread corruption ranging from lying about whether he talked to son Hunter's overseas business partners to taking indirect payoffs from those same players.

Neither has been convicted of any crimes, and Biden hasn't even been formally charged with any, nor has he yet been impeached.

Still, many have complained that the two likely candidates for president in 2024 have been dirtied by the accusations against them.
