More than 99% of migrants using Biden border app are released into US, report finds

April 16, 2023

A new report by Adam Shaw of Fox News said that over 99% of illegal immigrants who schedule appointments to cross the border and seek asylum in the U.S. using the Biden administration's CBP One app are being released into the U.S. interior, a staggeringly high success rate.

The app can only be used by migrants who are living in Mexico and are pregnant, mentally ill, elderly, disabled, homeless, or crime victims. Appointments can be scheduled up to 14 days in advance for appointments at one of eight different ports of entry.

Nearly all with appointments are granted exceptions to immigration rules and allowed into the country, then moved to Title 8 processing. They can then be deported under Title 8, if officials can find them again once they get free reign to roam the U.S.

Once Title 42 ends and migrants can no longer be deported for health reasons, the use of Title 8 to remove them is expected to increase.

The app now admits 20,000 foreign nationals, but will soon increase to 30,000.

Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) has called the app a "Ticketmaster for illegal immigrants" and slammed the Biden administration for building it instead of a wall.
