Miller wonders why banning Chinese land purchases in U.S. isn't bipartisan

Rep. Mary Miller (R-IL) is one of many Republicans wondering why banning Chinese land purchases in the U.S. does not have bipartisan support, only she decided to say something about it.

“We are on a dangerous path. We’ve known for a long time that we have been allowing ourselves to be too economically dependent on China,” Miller told Breitbart as she reintroduced a bill to stop the China land grab.

“Joe Biden is just focusing on Americans as being domestic terrorists instead of focusing on our true adversaries. I can’t even imagine what will happen if we lose our self-sufficiency in farming, and we need to take this threat very seriously,” she continued.

The Chinese have been buying up major areas of farmland in the U.S. as well as other land assets.

Miller's “Save American Farms from Adversaries Act" would allow the government to veto any Chinese land purchases for five years -- or purchases from any foreign country.

It could help to stabilize food and housing prices in a wildly inflationary market.
