Mike Lee Says Senate GOP 'Needs Leadership Now' After Border 'Betrayal'

Congress is likely STUNNED over the latest news surrounding Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY)!

Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) has called out McConnell’s recent support and subsequent uncertainty over the border security bill.

Lee took to X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, to share his grievances.

“I cannot understand how any Republican would think this was a good idea – or anything other than an unmitigated disaster. WE NEED NEW LEADERSHIP — NOW,” Lee wrote in the X post.

Lee went so far as to call the whole thing “an elaborate practical joke.”

“But it's not funny. Not one bit,” Lee wrote on social media.

Lee is RIGHT.

Anyone who supports the new border security bill is delusional.

Our nation needs secure borders now more than ever!

It is crystal clear that the safety of Americans is not what is important to the Senate.

We need lawmakers who care about our border, who care about our safety, and can put their words into action!
