Michigan Supreme Court says RFK Jr. will remain on ballot
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is doing all that he can to help out Donald Trump, and that includes trying to get his name off of the ballot in as many places as possible to make sure that people cast their votes for Donald Trump.
RFK Jr. and Trump are worried that having both of their names on the ballot could result in people voting for the independent who would have otherwise voted for the former president.
Many liberals across America want it to be as difficult as possible for Trump to collect votes, so that's why they're making it hard for RFK Jr. to get his name off the ballot.
A particularly big blow recently came in Michigan, where the state's Supreme Court ruled that RFK Jr. could NOT have his name removed from the ballot.
Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson argued that RFK Jr. "shall not be permitted to withdraw" from the election because he was nominated by the Natural Law Party in the state.
According to the state Supreme Court, Kennedy did not cite authority that would permit or require the removal of his name from the ballot.
