Michelle Obama calls husband Barack 'cheap'

Former first lady Michelle Obama appeared on The Jennifer Hudson Show recently, and many people are finding what she said about her husband, Barack Obama, to be very surprising.

During the interview, Mrs. Obama said that Barack Obama is the hardest person in the family to buy gifts for, saying that he might prefer a nice letter instead. In addition, she said that Barack was so "cheap" that he's often concerned about how much people spent on him!

"I mean, he just doesn't do much," Michelle Obama said of Barack Obama. "He golfs and there's only so many golf clubs you could get a dude."

"I already got the clubs, I can't get him another golf shirt. He's really hard and he doesn't want anything. I'm trying to get him clothes that he wouldn't buy, you know, cause he's also cheap."

She referred to a time in the past in which she had gifted Barack a nice jacket, only to have him ask "Why'd you spend this much on a jacket?"

"I was like, 'That's what a gift is,'" Mrs. Obama told Jennifer Hudson.

It's clear that Michelle Obamatakes her gift-giving seriously.

"I'm the one who organizes all the gift-giving," Michelle Obama said. "I make sure that all the kids we know are covered, I've got my list. I'm the one that makes Christmas happen."
