Mexico refuses deportation flight from United States

 January 26, 2025

An American military plane was supposed to transport illegal immigrants over our southern border and take them into Mexico on Jan. 23, but it never got off the ground.

NBC News reported that the departure was aborted because Mexico refused to let the plane land in the country.

Newsmax indicated that it was "unclear why Mexico blocked the flight."

Donald Trump was telling the truth when he said that deportations would start early in his presidency. He was trying to make good on his word, but Mexico didn't welcome the illegal immigrants either.

Still, Trump has actually been able to get quite a lot done. The White House has indicated that "538 illegal immigrant criminals, including a suspected terrorist, four members of the Tren de Aragua gang, and several illegals convicted of sex crimes against minors" have already been deported in Trump's young second term.

The Pentagon has even deployed four Air Force C-17 and C-130 aircraft to transport migrants out of the country as part of Trump's sweeping strategy to crack down on illegal immigration.

Trump isn't done pressing Mexico to get its border situation under control. He has outlined plans to place a 25% tariff on Mexico over what he says is inadequate border security to stop the flow of migrants and drugs from crossing into America.
